Deutsch: Ein Sandregenpeifer (Charadrius hiaticula), erkennbar an dem weißen Bruststreifen. Für diese Tiere war das Muschelfeld an der Wangerooger Oststitze abgesperrt. Sandregenpfeifer sind Bodenbrüter. Das Pärchen hier hatte wohl schon Junge. Die Vögel huschten den ganzen Tag über mit schnellen Bewegungen über die Fläche, bei Ebbe auch über das freigewordene Sandwatt zur Seeseite hin. Die Beobachtungsdauer war von 9:50 Uhr morgens bis 10:20 Uhr abends. Die Tiere waren die gesamte Zeit hinweg aktiv. Der grüne Bewuchs ist die Pionierpflanze und Halophys Salzmiere.
