Català: Sant Sopar (detall) de Joan de Joanes, oli sobre taula. Museu de Belles Arts de València. Joan de Joanes va pintar des de molt jove en col·laboració amb son pare, i aquesta és la primera obra de la qual consta que és un treball exclusivament seu. Va pertànyer al retaule que els argenters de València van dedicar al seu patró sant Eloi a la parròquia de santa Caterina. El pintor tradueix en imatges el moment en què Crist anuncia als seus deixebles que un d'ells el trairà. mereix especial atenció el tractament naturalista dels elements del bodegó.
