Va pertànyer al retaule que els argenters de València van dedicar al seu patró sant Eloi a la parròquia de santa Caterina. El pintor tradueix en imatges el moment en què Crist anuncia als seus deixebles que un d'ells el trairà. mereix especial atenció el tractament naturalista dels elements del bodegó.
