Español: Cuenta su actual Custodio o Mayordomo, el Señor Simón Celestino Maleno, nativo del pueblo de San Antonio de Piritu,nacido el 28 de octubre de 1954, que hace casi veinte años, la Sra. Juana Sáez (+) le conto la historia de esta bella imagen de la Madre de Cristo.
La Sra. Jacinta Chauran, la encontró en Carutico (Municipio Bruzual), a orillas del rio Unare, en un “aguado” que dejo un desbordamiento del rio, un primero de agosto de 1891 o 1892. Esta Imagen de Maria, luego pasó a ser custodiada por una descendiente suya, de nombre Adolfa Chauran, la cual se la “paso” posteriormente a su esposo León Paraqueimo, el cual a su vez se la entrego a la Sra. Gregoria Paraqueima. Ella antes de morir, se la entrega a su hijo Narciso Paraqueima, que a su vez, antes de morir, la entrega a su hijo, su actual Custodio, Simón Celestino Maleno. |
