Description
Português: Santo António tonsurado, envergando hábito franciscano com Livro aberto e crucifixo nas mãos. O Santo apresenta-se com dupla auréola e com grafia do seu nome em caracteres góticos dourados, o que remete segundo José Alberto Seabra Carvalho " para soluções semelhantes às utilizadas nos presumíveis painéis de predela do retábulo do Paraíso (Santas Margarida e Madalena e Santas Luzia e Ágata, no MNAA; Santas Apolónia e Inês e Santas Catarina e Bárbara, no Museu de Posen)". A imagem insere-se num ambiente citadino composto por numerosos palácios iluminados, do lado esquerdo, e sombrios, do lado direito. Trata-se de uma representação pouco comum de Santo António Leitor.
