Spalio 1 d.), Kairėje, buvo vyriausiasis Jurgio Savickio (1890–1952), centro, sūnus, Lietuvos diplomatas ir rašytojas, ir Ida Trakiner-Savickienė (1894–1944), a. odontologas, kurio šeima buvo žydų kilmės ir kilusi iš Sankt Peterburgo. Algirdas mirė Kauno gete (Kowno / Kaunen) po to, kai jį sušaudė Lietuvos sargybinis, kai bandė apsaugoti savo jauną žmoną Juliją. Dešinėje yra jo jaunesnysis brolis Augustinas (1919–2012), kuris išgyveno po to, kai sugebėjo pabėgti į Rusiją.
English: Algirdas Savickis (10 September 1917 in Copenhagen – 1 October 1943), left, was the eldest son of of Jurgis Savickis (1890–1952), center, a Lithuanian diplomat and writer, and Ida Trakiner-Savickienė (1894–1944), a dentist whose family was Jewish and originally from Saint Petersburg. Algirdas died in the ghetto of Kaunas (Kowno/Kaunen) after he was shot by a Lithuanian guard when he tried to protect his young wife Julija. On the right is his younger brother Augustinas (1919–2012) who survived since he was able to flee to Russia.

Oktober 1943), links, war der älteste Sohn von Jurgis Savickis (1890–1952), Mitte, eines litauischen Diplomaten und Schriftstellers, und Ida Trakiner-Savickienė (1894–1944), einer Zahnärztin, deren Familie jüdisch war und ursprünglich aus Sankt Petersburg stammte. Algirdas starb im Ghetto von Kaunas (Kowno / Kaunen), nachdem er von einem litauischen Wachtposten erschossen worden war, als er versuchte, seine junge Frau Julija vor dessen Übergriff zu beschützen. Rechts sein jüngerer Bruder Augustinas (1919–2012), der überlebt hat, weil er kurz vor oder zu Beginn der deutschen Besetzung Litauens nach Russland fliehen konnte. |
