Summary[edit]

Description Shrub in makatea vegetation near the ocean on Mitiaro Island (Cook Islands, Polynesia). This uncommon Scaevola is somewhat similar to the widespread S. sericea, which also occurs on Mitiaro and is in fact more common there, but the two taxa seemed definitely different. Scanned from a slide, photographed Oct. 2005.
