Description
Nederlands: Statische dauwpuntkoeling De nieuwste generatie koelers die gebruik maakt van verdamping van water, is de indirect werkende statische dauwpuntkoeling. Door gebruik te maken van een aantal basale natuurkundige principes is met steun van Agentschap.nl (het vroegere SenterNovem) een systeem ontwikkeld waarbij het aantal draaiende onderdelen tot een minimum wordt beperkt. Hierbij wordt uitgegaan van een aantal natuurkundige principes, zoals: de hygroscopische werking van bepaalde stoffen, adhesie, zwaartekracht, middelpuntvliedende kracht en - het minder bekende principe van - de vallende film. De statische- indirectwerkende dauwpunt koeling kenmerkt zich door eenvoud, bedrijfszekerheid en aantoonbaar minder onderhoudskosten.
