Description |
A photograph of the Schlee School in Franklin Township, district No. 8. It was located near the south east corner of the intersection of Jackson Pike (now Harmon Avenue) and Greenlawn Avenue. The architect was David Riebel, who had his offices at 61 Eberly Building, and home at 180 West 9th Avenue. A rendering of the building appears in the Columbus Dispatch, August 10, 1902, Section2, p.3. There is also a photograph of the class in 1903. The arrow points to Louise Goodfleisch, eleven years old at the time. She was born in Columbus in 1892. The school building was demolished sometime in the 1970s or 1980s. |
