Description
Deutsch: Schlosswasserhäuschen, Zwischenstation der Wasserversorgung des Schlosses Wernigerode. Das Wasser vom Grubengewässer des Eierberges wurde mit der Schlosswasserreise über diese Zwischenstation zum Schloss geleitet. (Wasserreise = frühzeitliche Wasserleitung, damals aus Holzrohren bestehend) Die Wasserleitung vom Eierberg zum Schloss war 11500 Meter lang und wurde 1730 fertiggestellt. Die Wasserleitung, die später aus Tonröhren bestand, verlief über den Annaweg und Kaiserweg zum Schloss und hatte ein Gefälle von 28 Metern.
