Description
Deutsch: Das schmalbättrige Weidenröschen (Chamerion angustifolium), auch Stauden-Feuerkraut genannt, war im Sommer 2023 auf der Insel sehr häufig anzutreffen. Es wächst viel in der Heidelandschaft und fällt dort mit seinem kegeligen und oft locker wirkenden Blütenstanden auf.

Das Schmalblättrige Weidenröschen (Epilobium angustifolium) auch Stauden-Feuerkraut genannt, blüht von Juli bis August in bis zu 140 Zentimeter hohe Stauden. Es ist in größeren Bestände dann eine sehr auffällige Erscheinung.

Die Blütenblätter sind bis 1,5 cm groß. Die Blätter sind lanzettlich und bis zu 2,5 cm lang und unten deutlich geadert. Der gezähnte Blattrand ist nach unten gebogen.

Die Pflanze liebt einen lockeren und stickstoffhaltigen Boden und gilt als häufig.

Man blickt hier Richtung Westen und sieht im Hintergrund den rot-weißen Neuen Leuchtturm von Wangerooge.
