| Description |
English: Early morning exercise in the dunes of the East Frisian island Juist in Prussia, performed by pupils of progressive boarding-school Schule am Meer in the north of the boarding-school's compound near the beach of the North Sea. The photographer is looking southbound, in the background the Wadden Sea and the mainland on the horizon. The sun is shining from the east providing long shadows which indicate the early morning.
Deutsch: Frühsport in den Dünen der ostfriesischen Insel Juist in Preußen, ausgeführt von Schülern des reformpädagogischen Landerziehungsheims Schule am Meer im Norden des Schulgeländes nahe dem Strand der Nordsee. Der Fotograf blickt Richtung Süden, im Hintergrund erkennt man das Watt und das Festland am Horizont. Die Sonne scheint von Osten und verursacht lange Schatten, die eine frühe Uhrzeit am Morgen nahelegen. Das im Hintergrund auszumachende Dach gehört zur Domäne Loog. |
