Summary[edit]

Description
Deutsch: Schwabsberg (Rainau): Geborgene Eichenstämme der Limespalisade. Die Stämme wurden von den Römern halbiert und mit der geraden Seite in Richtung Barbaricum aufgestellt. Um den Halt zu verbessern wurden die Stämme mit Querhölzern verbunden. Die Stämme stammen vom Südrand von Schwabsberg. Dort wurde die Limespalisade in den Jahren 1969 und 1974 angeschnitten. Dendrochronologische Untersuchungen können die Stämme dem Spätjahr 165, möglicherweise Frühjahr 166 n. Chr. zugeordnen. Archbau GmbH Bayern, Studienfahrt.
