Summary

[edit]
Description

English: karst spring of the Black Lauter in a valley with several small karst springs and the intermittend running water cave „Goldloch“. After only 1,8 km the springs brook joins the Lenninger Lauter, which has its Karst spring White Lauter 2,5 km upwards at „Gutenberg“ (district of Lenningen), Swabian Alb. The Lenninger Lauter joins the Neckar at Wendlingen. The karst springs Black- and White Lauter, the “Donntal” and the blind valleys where the town Gutenberg is situated, are within the large Naturschutzgebiet “Oberes Lenninger Tal mit Seitentälern”.
The small stone building next to the spring “Black Lauter” served to protect the spring for drinking water.
