Description

Note the curved cove-ceiling and the ornate Victorian light fixtures. A large plaster reproduction of the Victory of Samothrace is seen in the center of the room. (Perry, p.142-43). Caption: Living Room. The piano later replaced by Schweinfurth with glass-front book shelves matching those seen next to the dining room in the rear. Note the carpet-later replaced by Schweinfurth with cork flooring.
