Deutsch: Ein Fadenpendel wird aus der anfänglichen Ruhelage rechts losgelassen. Es vollzieht dann eine vollständige Schwingung von Anfangszustand a bis zum Endzustand j. Eine (mechanische) Schwingung ist definiert als ein vollständiger Zyklus zwischen zwei identischen Zuständen.
Eine andere Datei auf Wikimedia Commons zeigt dieses Pendel in Schwingung als Film. Das verwendete Fadenpendel war rund 50 Zentimeter lang und hatte eine berechnete wie auch gemessene Schwingungsdauer von 1,42 Sekunden. Die Dauer wurde nachträglich über die Zeitstempel einer Software zur Filmberarbeitng (Shotcut) bestimmt. English: A complete oscillation of a pendulum. One Oscillation is here made up a movement through all the stages from a to j, where j is supposed to be identical with a. The image was taken at Mathe-AC Lernwerkstatt Aachen, a studio-based learning environment focussing on maths and physics. The pendulum had a length of 0,5 metres. One oscillation took about 1,42 seconds. |
