Description
English: Hazel Reeves (left), MRSS SWA FRSA is a British sculptor based in Sussex, England, who specialises in figure and portrait commissions in bronze. Her work has been shown widely across England and Wales.

She is stood with Dr Helen Pankhurst MBE (right) Activist and author, granddaughter of Sylvia, great-granddaughter of Emmeline. A women's rights activist and senior advisor to CARE International, working in the UK and in Ethiopia. She is a trustee of ActionAid, a Visiting Senior Fellow at LSE and Visiting Professor at Manchester Metropolitan.

On Friday 14 December 2018 a statue of Emmeline Pankhurst was unveiled in her home city of Manchester. Designed by sculptor Hazel Reeves, to celebrate the contribution of women to the city and it took place on the day that exactly 100 years ago the first women voted in a UK general election for the first time.
