This is an image of a building or other location within the Pioneer Square-Skid Road Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district has been successively enlarged, and hence has multiple NRHP IDs: 70000086, 78000341, and 88000739

Description
English: Looking west toward Pioneer Square from Third Avenue and James Street, Seattle, Washington, USA.

Visible buildings (left to right): Drexel Hotel Building (the upper part of which was one of the few buildings to survive the Great Seattle Fire of 1889), Collins Building, "Sinking Ship" parking lot, a modern building at the southeast corner of 1st & Yesler that must have a name but I don't know it (replaced the Olympic Block), Schwabacher Hardware Building and Yesler Building barely visible straight ahead, a sliver of the Pioneer Building (the gray and the reddish orange stripe), the Butler Garage (the lowest two floors are a remnant of the Butler Hotel), the Hartford Building, and the Lyon Building.
