Description

Item 153, Engineering Department Photographic Negatives (Record Series 2613-07), Seattle Municipal Archives.

English: Seattle City Council visiting Masonry Dam, 1914. Going by the geolocation data from Seattle Municipal Archives, this is the dam that expanded Cedar Lake (now known as Chester Morse Lake) at the head of the Cedar River, one of Seattle's main sources of water.

Based on that date, the council would have consisted of the following people; individual identifications would be welcome:

  • Ira Lundy
  • A.F. Haas (President)
  • Oliver T. Erickson
  • Robert B. Hesketh
  • A.J. Goddard
  • Charles Marble
  • C.B. Fitzgerald
  • George R. Cooley (appointed after John G. Peirce resigned April 1, 1914, due to charges against him concerning illegal campaign collections in the mayoralty campaign of J.C. Slater.)
  • C. Allen Dale
