| Description |
Français : Jean Thomas Ouillé est né à Bompas, le 8 déc 1892. Suite à une dispute avec son père, il s'engage volontairement dans l'armée dès le 2 janvier 1911. Soldat de 2e classe, caporal en sept 1911, caporal conducteur le 27 sept 1912 et sergent le 25 fév 1913. Le 3 janvier 1914 il est rétrogradé en chasseur de 3e classe. A nouveau sergent le 11 octobre 1914. Rétrogradé à nouveau en décembre. Il est légèrement blessé et fait prisonnier en Allemagne (Munster) et rapatrié le 22 déc 1918. Il reste dans l'armée puis démobilisé le 6 août 1919. Il s'est marié à Marie DEDIES en 1920 et a eu une fille unique, Jeanne. Jean Thomas OUILLE(é) est le grand père maternel de Mr Caixas, le contributeur.
Au dos, la carte porte le cachet de la poste le 6 mai 1911 à 19h25. J.T. Ouillé écrit à ses parents : "Reçu lettre. Suis à Epernay. Je vous envoie ma section donc on nous a pris en arrivant au cantonnement [...]" |
