English: Security policy in Austria - Restistance is futile
In Austria runs a court case against 13 animal rights activists since Mach 2. 2010. They are accused of being members of a criminal organisation because of their legal activism. The prosecutor argues they have motivated unknown criminals to cause property damage by doing normal NGO work. Many organisations call for demanding a change of the misused law sect. 278a of the Austrian criminal act in order to deny a further misuse of this law which was originally ment to enable the prosecution to get charges against mafia leaders. The government coalition built by social democrats and the conservative party did the opposite: They decided to widen the anti terroism laws under sects. 278ff. Therefore those laws can be misused even wider because of unclear definitions. More information: http://shameonaustria.org/Deutsch: Sicherheitspolitik in Österreich - Widerstand ist zwecklos
In Österreich läuft seit 2.
