Description
Español: Fig 1.A. Patrones de movimientos del huso entre varias especies de nematodos.

Izquierda: Representaciones esquemáticas de un embrión desde la reunión de los pronúcleos hasta la primera división celular.
Los microtúbulos se muestran en verde y los cromosomas en azul.
Las fuerzas mecánicas que tiran de los microtúbulos astrales son responsables de los movimientos de los núcleos y del huso y se muestran como flechas negras.
Derecha: Imágenes fijas de los embriones de dos especies de Caenorhabditis (C. Elegans y C. virilis).
El lado anterior A está a la izquierda y el posterior P a la derecha.
La línea punteada blanca representa el centro de la célula. Los centrosomas (punto central en azul y contorno en rojo) se detectaron mediante un programa automatizado para C. Elegans, mientras que para C. virilis, los centrosomas se han rastreado manualmente.
