Sverresborgs fotografi viser en større del av fjorden med flere identifiserte skip og har den medfølgende tekst:

Note: King Oscar II was first crowned in Stockholm May 12, 1873 and then July 18, 1873 in the Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim.

Sverresborg's photograph shows a larger part of the fjord with several identified vessels and has the accompanying text: King Oscar the 2nd Coronation in July 1873. Wheelboat with 2 chimneys: English. Visor "Valorous" Armoured ship "Agincourt" "Sultan" "Northumberland" "Hercules", and Yacht "Enchantress" with Prince Arthur aboard.

Farthest east: German Corvettes Hertha - Arcona - Ariadne, and Vineta. - - Norwegian "St.Olaf" "Nornen", and "Laugen"

Inner: Swedish Corvette: Nordkóping - Balder - Gunhild - Danish frigate "Sjælland"

The picture at the City Archives is missing wheel steamer "Valorous".
