Description
Español: Paul Born Schäfer, nació el 13.06.1888 en Erfurt (Alemania)
1911 – 1914 Camerún. Estaba al servicio de la *“kaiserlichen Schutztruppe für Kamerun” [Tropas imperiales de protección para el Camerún]. 1914 1ª Guerra Mundial. Los marines alemanes no estaban preparados para la guerra, sino que su misión era investigar para conseguir un fármaco contra la malaria. Se produce su retirada a Guinea española.Se entregaron a las autoridades y permanecieron confinados.Tienen que escoger: a) España del Sur b) España del Norte. Escoge ir a España del Norte. En Pamplona estuvieron hasta que acabó la 1ª Guerra mundial (1918).
