Shaheed Smriti Soudha, Islamic University is an architecture built in honor and memory of those who were martyred for Bangladesh from the language movement of 1952 to the liberation war of 1971.

বাংলা: শহীদ স্মৃতিসৌধ, ইসলামী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বাংলাদেশের ১৯৫২ সালের ভাষা আন্দোলন থেকে শুরু করে ১৯৭১ সালের মুক্তিযুদ্ধ পর্যন্ত বাংলাদেশের জন্য যারা শহীদ হয়েছেন, তাদের সন্মান ও স্মৃতি স্মরনার্থে নির্মিত একটি স্থাপত্য। ভাস্কর্যটি ইসলামী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান ফটকের পাশে ২০০১ সালে নির্মাণ করা হয়। চিত্রশিল্পী হাশেম খান, লেখক মুনতাসীর মামুন ও স্থপতি রবিউল ইসলাম কর্তৃক প্রণীত মডেল ও স্থাপনা কর্মের ভিত্তিকে এটি নির্মিত করা হয়। এই স্মৃতিসৌধটি বাংলাদেশের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোর মধ্যে সবচেয়ে উচু শহীদ স্মৃতিস্তম্ভ।
