| Description |
English: The 2 most famous monuments in Shumen, Bulgaria. In front is the Monument of Freedom and in back is the Monument Founders of the Bulgarian State. Both monuments are built during the communist time. The Monument of Freedom is built after establishing the communist regime in Bulgaria. It symbolizes the victory of communism over fascism. In this photo, the sculptured soldier with the stretched arms represents the communism and the soldier with tied hands on his back, who is sitting on his knees, is representing a captured fascist.
Български: Двата най-популярни паметника в Шумен. Отпред е Паметникът на Свободата и отзад на хълма е паметник „Създатели на българската държава“. Паметникът на свободата е изграден след установяването на комунизма в България. Символизира победата на комунизма над фашизма: воинът с разперените ръце е комунист, а воинът долу с вързаните ръце на гърба е фашист. |
