Description
English: Recession of Siddha Baijnath located in Baitada, Ward No. 4, Betkot Municipality, Kanchanpur District. This temple is located in the forest of Baitada and at the height of the Khanne river. As the old temple and idol were washed away by the floods and landslides, the local women built the temple themselves by going from house to house during the famous Gaura festival of far-western Nepal, dancing, singing and raising funds. In this temple special worship is performed on Baishakh Shukla Paksha Dashami Tithi and locals of this region celebrate Hori festival in this temple. The old idol in this temple was washed away by floods and landslides and the local women made the idol of Siddha Baijnath themselves.
