Side wall of Clopper Mill, Germantown, MD

Summary[edit]

Description
English: One of the side walls of Clopper Grist Mill. The right side is standing almost to the top, and a two story portion of the left corner is also standing. The first two stories of the mill are made of stone and the third, made of brick, was added by Francis Clopper in 1834. The mill is close to Maryland Route 117 (also called Clopper Road in this area) and you can see the guard rails for the road behind the mill. To the right of the mill you can see water in the mill race. Germantown, Maryland.
