Description
Svenska: Siknäsbatteriet utgjorde en del av Kalixlinjen och huvudartilleriet bestod av åtta stycken 15,2 cm kanoner m/03 som stod i fyra dubbeltorn. Dessa hade tidigare suttit på pansarkryssaren Fylgia. Kanonerna kunde lägga artillerield över en invasionsflotta mot Töre hamn men även lägga eld över en framryckande angripare som kom på E4:an från Haparanda.

Effektivt skjutavstånd var 16 km och eldhastigheten kunde med en samkörd besättning komma upp i tre skott i minuten.

Batteriet betjänades av en lokalförsvarsbataljon om över 300 man.
