Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Simon Peters churchaltar as well as the baptismal basin is carried by brick, simple foundations. The baptismal basin, altar and the two large candlesticks is made of silver by jeweler Bent Gabrielsen, who also has designed and produced the alternative background in collaboration with the church's architect, Holger Jensen. It consists of a gilded, empty crosses surrounded by 350 "Prisms", made of wood and covered with gold. These "Prisms" give different lighting effects depending on the lighting, which penetrates through the tall windows beside the altar and the church room's rear. Altar service is made by silversmith Hjørdis Haugaard, Kolding. The altar is always adorned by a single red rose. Only through the holidays and special occasions supplemented this simple flower decoration with two flowers setups
