DescriptionSimtec RISC OS 3 ROM Carrier with RISC OS 3.10 ROMs.jpg |
English: Simtec RISC OS 3 ROM Carrier with RISC OS 3.10 ROMs.The Archimedes A300 computers were only designed to use 1 Mbit ROMs, unlike the A440 and later A410/1 range. RISC OS 3 was supplied in 4 Mbit ROMs so a carrier board was needed to install the ROMs in an A300. Several suppliers produced carrier boards, this one is from Simtec. The upper picture shows the board with RISC OS 3.10 ROMs installed. The fitting instructions for the Simtec RM Carrier board are HERE . |
