Description

1915 cigarette card picture of Admiral Sir George Le Clerc Egerton KCB (17 October 1852 – 30 March 1940), He was a senior Royal Navy officer from the Egerton family who rose to become Second Sea Lord.

British American Tobacco Co. Australian Issue Cigarette Card. " British Warships and Admirals" - 1915. No. 4 Admiral Sir G le C Egerton. BAT issued set of 50 cards. These were sometimes referred to as "Anonymous Issue" because, although printed on back, no maker's name or brand is present.
