Description
Français : Buges est le point de jonction des trois canaux de Briare, d'Orléans et du Loing depuis 1724 (fin de la construction du canal du Loing). Situé à proximité de l'ancienne papeterie, le site comprend une écluse, une maison reconstruite vers 1820 qui abritait les logements de l'éclusier et du contrôleur (distribués par deux couloirs et deux escaliers) , une grande passerelle métallique de halage au-dessus du canal d'Orléans, une seconde passerelle et un déversoir de superficie sur la rivière du Solin. English: Buges is the junction point of the three canals of Briare, Orleans and Loing since 1724 (end of construction of the Loing Canal). Located near the old stationery, the site includes a lock, a house rebuilt around 1820 that housed the lock keeper and controller housing (distributed by two corridors and two stairs), a large metal walkway above Canal d'Orléans, a second footbridge and a spillway area on the river Solin.
