Description

Six World War I airplanes (replicas) in the air at the same time - an extremely rare sight, with an Albatros D.II and an Albatros D.Va flying in the foreground representing "Germany", and a De Havilland American DH.4 in the background leading a Sopwith Triplane and two S.E.5a, representing the Allied powers.

All aircraft are replicas, all except the DH.4 built by The Vintage Aviator Ltd in New Zealand. A second Albatros D.Va was also in the air at the time, making this (7 airplanes) the world's largest flying display of these types of WWI aircraft in the world.[1]
