Title

Dansk: Kirstine af Fanø.
Object type painting
object_type QS:P31,Q3305213
Description
English: The description (Kirstine af Fanøe, Skipper Søren Mathiesen) of this painting does not entirely match a known vessel. But it is close. On the island of Fanø there was a commercial yacht ("jagt") named Fru Kirstine, built in Nordby, Fanø in 1810 and mastered for over 40 years by Søren Mathiasen (1800-1888). The uploader believes it is that ship.
