Summary
[edit]DescriptionSloop Jubilee-4.jpg |
English: Charles Jackson Paine's sloop Jubilee (designed by his son John B. Paine, and built in 1893 at the George Lawley & Son shipyard, Massachusetts) was a candidate for the 1893 America's Cup defence. She featured a fin-bulb keel and two centerboards: one forward of the keel, after the cutwater, and another set inside the finkeel. She is pictured here in the selection trials, which she lost to the Vigilant. |
