Construção com 50 cômodos originalmente, data de 1863. Construção em taipa de pilão e pau-a-pique. Na parte de baixo funcionavam atividades comerciais como mercearia e armazém de café. Na parte superior era a residência de José Luiz Borges e Amália Carolina de Mello Oliveira, que receberão o título de barões de Dourados, pelo Imperador D. Pedro II.

Ocuparam este prédio duas repartições do Ministério da Guerra: A justa de alistamento militar e o Tiro de Guerra 02-040 em 1951.

Sofreu restaurações dentre os anos de 1965 e 1967 e novamente em 2010 após sofrer um incêndio restando de original apenas as paredes.
