Summary[edit]
Softball infield. This image is a cropped version of a photograph taken by Yours Truly on 2005-11-01. The players weren't identifiable anyway, but I smudged their faces, just to be on the safe side.
The two men in green are called runners; they are standing on second base and first base. The man in the green jacket is the third base coach. The men in red are (from left to right looking at the picture) called the third baseman, pitcher, first baseman, shortstop, and left field. The man in blue is an umpire. The diamond is skinned, meaning that the infield is dirt and the outfield is grass.
With runners on first and second, and less than two outs, this image depicts an infield fly situation.
