Solange Carrasco Yañez (San Fernando, VI Región de Chile; 11 de Octubre 1978) Es una Antropóloga social especializada en investigación cualitativa, patrimonio inmaterial y memoria social. Estudió en la Universidad Bolivariana Antropología social (1998-2002), Luego participó en programa de Intervención Social que buscaba generar transformaciones socioculturales en las comunidades del territorio rural llamado Servicio País en Tirúa (2006-2008) Participó en otras investigaciones en Tirúa, Región Del Bío Bío, colaborando en la realización y producción de dos documentales “Blanca Rosa Huentelao” (2008) y “Painen” (2007), los cuales indagan en la memoria del pueblo mapuche lafkenche, mediante el rescate de imaginarios culturales referidos a la historia social de una machi y un lonko del territorio de Tirúa Sur Cordillera, (área de Nahuelbuta).

Al volver lanzó un libro en el cual fue Co-ejecutora del proyecto “Sal y Memoria: Los antiguos salineros de Laguna Cáhuil”, financiado por el Consejo De La Cultura Y Las Artes (2009), el cual tuvo como principal objetivo difundir la cultura salinera de Cáhuil-Región De O´Higgins, a través del análisis de información escrita y de la historia oral Luego defendió su Tesis: Viaje Hacia La Otredad. Memoria Social De Un Oficio Salinero, Representación De Relatos De Vida En Torno Al Polvo Blanco Del Mar O El Oro Blanco Del Borde Costero De Laguna Cáhuil en la Universidad Bolivariana (2010)
