Français : Cette drôle d'automobile baptisée à tort "Solex" par son propriétaire, est une KV City 125 équipée d'un moteur New-Map et commercialisée de 1972 à 1974.
K.V.S. était une petite fabrique basée à Lyon-Chassieu, France, spécialisée dans la fabrication de voiturettes. La marque est issue de la fusion des "Equipements Electriques K.V." et de la "SA Fabrique Lyonnaise de Motocyclettes New-Map et Motosacoche", constructeur des motos New-Map, et à l'origine des voiturettes 125 Rolux et Solyto. New-Map était spécialisée dans la fabrication de voiturettes en métal, de motocyclettes et de moteurs. KV a fait ses débuts dans la fabrication d'équipements de téléphonie. A la retraite du directeur de la société New-Map, KV a pris le contrôle de la compagnie et a produit les Solyto nouvelle version et City (Photo) jusqu'en 1974. KV est devenu "KVS" en 1978 après que la compagnie de production de voiturettes a été revendue. La production de voiturettes a cessé définitivement en 1985.[ |
