Description
English: x/y plot of an ultrasonic sound field, transducer diameter 10mm, frequency 4MHz, c=1500m/s (water) at a distance z=67mm (focal zone) as calculated by the Rayleigh-Integral. The plot shows the send-receive field, that means the square p^2 of the calculated sound pressure values p.
Deutsch: Querschnitt eines Sende-Empfangs-Ultraschallfeldes im Fokus bei z=67mm für einen Ultraschallwandler mit dem Durchmesser D=10mmm, einer Schallfrequenz von 4MHz für Wasser mit einer Schallgeschwindigkeit von 1500m/s, berechnet mit dem Rayleigh-Integral. (Die Darstellung stellt das Quadrat des Schalldrucks da, da die Richtcharakteristik beim Puls-Echo-Verfahren sowohl beim Senden, als auch im Empfang eingeht.)
