Summary

Description

Traditional meets exceptional in the explosively energetic South Korean percussion troupe, Dulsori whose name literally means ‘heartbeat of the land’. At the heart of each performance is the group’s desire to recapture the unquenchable influences of nature and her elements and to rekindle the raw energy and spirit of ancient Korean festivals. The musicians expertly blend traditional Korean percussion and song with contemporary rhythms to create a myriad of colour and sound, alive with a rich and vibrant percussive energy. The pace never lets up; a gripping performance of delicious percussion, crashing drums and rabble-rousing vocals all carefully choreographed to entice audience participation which never fails. Dulsori’s energy is utterly contagious!

It is indeed no surprise that Dulsori have created an extensive and much deserved reputation on the international stage.
