Description
English: From the permanent exhibition about World War II in the ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Center in Kristiansand, Norway:
  • Worn uniform clothing of the Red Army used as prisoner outfit by a Soviet Russian Prisoner of War in a German internment camp for forced labour in Norway during the Second World War: Winter cap with ear flaps (ushanka), padded cotton jacket (telogreika, vatnik, or fufaika) and trousers, as well as traditional Russian winter felt boots (valenki).
ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Centre: The "Brennpunkt Arkivet: Occupation, Resistance, Captivity, and Collaboration in Agder 1940-1945" is a permanent exhibition situated in the basement, which served as the headquarters of the Gestapo and witnessed harsh interrogations during World War II.
