Description
English: Soy parte de, no soy parte de, soy parte de, no soy parte de, performance de Berenice Cortés, en el encuentro No lo Haga Usted Mismo, 2022. En la acción, la artista se columpiaba mientras una proyección con árboles, paisajes y texto la iluminaban, así como al muro. La pieza hace alusión a su comunidad de origen, sus recuerdos, sus sentires; la lejanía y diferencia que siente con respecto a su pasado y cómo siente que no cumplió con las expectativas con tal de convertirse en quien es ahora. La artista ha retomado ese tema en diversas obras, pero también en investigaciones etnográficas que ha publicado en artículos y un libro.
