Description
English: This one is probably a species of Dresserus. It was captured near Somerset West, South Africa, near Cape Town.

I originally submitted this picture to Flickr, because of confusion (still confused) about how best to manage these things. But I placed no restriction AFAIK on its free use.

As for the spider, she was a stray female caught indoors (unusual!) She is one of the Velvet Spider group similar to Eresus (not to be confused with velvet mites, Trombidiidae)

Not dangerous. This one is alarmed; usually the legs are held closer to the body. Hard to photograph details because of dark, velvety skin.
