Description
English: Here are boxes of sphagnum moss in which spores ripen. In the center is a deformed sporophyte, which acquired such an unusual shape in the process of individual development. This object is an example of a developmental anomaly similar, for example, to two-headedness or the absence of limbs in vertebrates, but much more frequent.
