English: Squier Modern Bass
Deutsch: Die Squier Modern Bass war in den frühen Jahren des 21. Jahrhunderts ein Versuch von Squier, das Design der erfolgreichen Bässe von Cort, Yamaha und Ibanez zu kopieren: Eine 2+3-Kopfplatte für den Fünfsaiter-Bass, der Verzicht auf ein Pickguard und eine modernere, runde Form des Korpus sollten speziell jüngere Käufer anlocken. Die Bässe wurden in Indonesien hergestellt und es gab 4-Saiter und 5-Saiter. Dieser Ausflug war allerdings nicht sehr erfolgreich und die Modern-Bass-Modelle sind sehr selten und gesucht bei Sammlern.
