Summary[edit]
DescriptionSt. Michael Street, Lower Price Hill, Cincinnati, OH (27227796077).jpg | Cincinnati's Lower Price Hill neighborhood is also home to a number of historically eligible garages and industrial structures, a selection of which are shown here. Pressed metal siding seems to have been a common material in the 1920s, and was used on both the red Auto Lot building and green Garage constructed during that era. An old 19th Century Carriage House is also shown, with the old doorways and windows bricked up as it was adapted into use as something else, while two brick industrial buildings from the early 20th Century retain their original functions, and a stone block garage, which has been modernized, remains in its original use as well. Today, these overlooked buildings may be less significant than the main structures that serve as housing or businesses, but they are still an interesting part of the local urban landscape, and should have some sort of attention brought to them. |
