Description

One of two bought in 1979 for the associated Staines and Hooks fleets. 989 ,an identical vehicle went to the latter fleet. EVW 988T was painted in Staines white and black livery, with a Plaxton Supreme IV body.

Seen in Chelmsford in Summer 1979 Subsequenty the Harwich & Dovercourt fleet of Pilbeam also entered the Crusader fold.
