Stamp of Australia; 1953; commemorative stamp of the series "100 years of stamps of Tasmania"; The stamp motive shows the stamp Tasmania Michel No. 2a, 2b, 5, 10 or 11 from 1853. Until 1858 was the name of this island "Van Diemen's Land"; From 1858 onwards was the name "Tasmania" used.; Only Michel No. 2a (=1854), 2b (=1853), 10 (= 1853), 11 (=1853) are orange respectively yellowish orange; No.2 (1853, Plate I, imperforate) and No. 5 (1853, Plate I, perforated), No. 10 and 11 (= plate II), only No. 2 and 5 are red orange etc.; All stamps shows a side portrait of the young British Queen Victoria in standing oval with look to right.; stamp postmarked
