| Description |
Nederlands: Stationweg 43-51, Perronstraat, Stationsplein, Spoorpad, hoek Helderseweg 17, achter Kruseman van Eltenweg, Station Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). Vanaf rechts Stationsweg 45, de restauratie, Stationsweg 43a-c, het grenswisselkantoor en Stationsweg 43, de fietsenstalling. Op de achtergrond gebouwen aan de Wognumsebuurt. Gebouwd rond 1865 als station van de Staatsspoorwegen, type SS derde klasse, na de aanleg van de spoorlijn Alkmaar-den Helder van de Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij. Verbouwd in 2014-2015. Tot in de jaren-50 reden er stoomtrams naar Egmond aan Zee, Bergen aan Zee en Schagen. In de jaren-40 werd de NACO van de NS en kwam er ook een busstation. In 1972 fuseerde de NACO tot NZH, rond 2015 de landelijke Connexxion. |
